Located at the foot of the Parish Church, the Traditional Costume Museum houses a variety of traditional men’s and women’s costumes from Tertenia dating from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. An extensive collection of historic photographs, dating from the late nineteenth century to the 1940s and 1950s, depicts local people and scenes of daily life in the old town and surrounding countryside. Recreated domestic interiors – including sitting rooms, kitchens and bedrooms furnished with original pieces from the early twentieth century – allow visitors to immerse themselves fully in the atmosphere of the period.
