The Diving Eagle
In the centre of the town, in Piazza J. F. Kennedy, is a smaller replica of the bronze eagle commemorating the US Marines who lost their lives in the Second World War, the original of which is located in Manhattan, New York. This work showcases the artistic talent of sculptor Albino Manca, who gave the subject a unique style, as well as the technical expertise evident in the choices he made to ensure the success of the bronze casting.
