Church of Our Saviour
It stands at the point where the Santu Predu and Corte ‘e Susu neighbourhoods border on each other. It belongs to the parish of the Rosary and was built in the second half of the 17th century. The façade has a simple structure and is characterised by a pink trachyte rose window and the roof culminates in a bell-gable. It has a rectangular plan with a single nave, divided by three pointed arches made of trachyte. Originally there were two other entrances: the one on the left, which was called “of the wayfarers”; and the one on the right, which opened onto the open space of the cumbessias, where, during the feast to be held on 6th August the carts loaded with household goods stopped. Inside the church, in the niches resulting from the curtain walls of the two aforementioned windows, there are wooden statues depicting Saint Lucia and San Salvador de Horta. The latter still retains its original stained glass window.
