Nuraghe Nastasi or Anastasi
The Nuraghe Nastasi, or Anastasi, is located on top of a 33-metre-high hill at Sarrala’e Basciu in Tertenia Marina. It is a complex nuraghe consisting of a main tower and four further towers connected by a curving internal courtyard. The interior can be entered through two doorways, one facing south and the other east. Excavations carried out in 1966 and 1981 brought to light several fragments of bronze statuettes, including an archerās directional standard, as well as numerous terracotta finds. These included a large two-handled bowl, a horseshoe-shaped cooking stand and many fragments of bowls, cups and pots. Fragments of painted Mycenaean pottery were a particularly important discovery. The site is easy to reach and well signposted. Admission is free.
