Honoured guests, I thank the esteemed Sant’Andrea for bringing us together. It is an honour to greet you and share with you some of the treasures housed in this abode. In addition to the recommendations made by my predecessors, with whom I have the honour of sharing this residence, I suggest you visit the Sala degli Orologi if you have not yet done so. The exhibition space, located on the floor below us, houses marvellous and intricate mechanisms and exists thanks to a superb astronomical clock, the undisputed symbol of our beloved city, created in 1583 by my colleague, Pietro Fanzago. Our residence is also surrounded by a charming park that extends along the inner sides of the complex. Here you will find welcoming benches, a romantic area with arches, and three imposing sequoias towering majestically towards the sky. I invite you to enjoy this pleasantly refreshing bucolic corner of paradise, hidden in the heart of the city’s historic centre.
