The Church of Santi Fidenzio and Terenzio

The Church of Saints Fidentius and Terence is dedicated to the two local patron saints and was documented for the first time in 1677. Today, the church, which originally consisted of three naves, has a single nave with apse and trussed ceiling. On the right wall there is a fresco on canvas, dating back to the 16th century, made by members of the Umbrian-Latian school. The apse is completely decorated with frescoes, dominated by the figure of the Virgin Mary among the Patron Saints (depicted dressed as Roman soldiers), and the imposing image of God the Father in glory between Cherubim and Saints. The inscription on the presbyteral arch suggests that the apse decoration dates back to the restoration work that was carried out by the Brotherhood of Saint Terence and Fidentius in 1793.
